Welcome to Erika Amir's plain-ass webpage.
Originally from the Finger Lakes of Upstate NY, I live in beautiful San Francisco, CA.
I am 27 years old.
I am a geologist. I am a graduate from the very great Tufts Geology Department,
and a proud alum of Indiana University's Field Camp.
I belong to the Geological Society of America (Cordillerian Section),
the Association of Women Geoscientists, and the American Geophysical Union.
I worked for several years as a field geologist in the Environmental Consulting and then Geotechnical Engineering disciplines.
However, my academic interests focus on neotectonics, structure and field geology, with a side interest in Martian geology.
I am currently in the first year of my Master's Degree in Geosciences at San Francisco State University.
My research webpage can be found here.
